The Ohio Association of Cheerleading Coaches helps to offset Pay-To-Participate Fees
Columbus, Ohio April 1, 2010 -
In a first-of-its-kind scholarship program, The Ohio Association of Cheerleading Coaches (OACC) aims to keep cheerleaders participating in one of Ohio’s fastest growing youth sporting activities. The OACC announced today that it is helping cheerleaders with their pay-to-participate (pay-to-play) fees.
3 Recipients will be selected and announced at the Coach's Conference May 22, 2010 in Mansfield, OH.
Requirements:
2 Letters of Recommendation (teacher,coach,parent,church,etc)
Grades are not required. However, make sure you are academically eligible to participate. The OACC scholarship committee will verify eligibility.
Be accepted as a squad member - after tryouts- if applicable.

Name, phone number, email address of coach
Write a short essay or paper about a personal cheer event or experience. Include what cheerleading does for you, why you like to be involved in cheerleading. Almost everyone has their own experience in sports. Write about the moment, and the jubilation after reaching a great feat, or even the despair of participation and what you learned from it.
Deadline: April 30th for Summer or Fall Season October 30th for Winter or Spring Season
Include your name, phone number, address, email address and organization/school name on all paperworks.
